This curriculum incorporates mindfulness meditation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) principles, social-emotional learning (SEL) techniques, creative expression through art and writing, and optional yoga exercises. ExhilaFit® M.A.P. empowers individuals to reclaim “abandoned parts” of themselves – those deemed unworthy due to past experiences. Through self-compassion, intentionality, and healthy boundary setting, participants reaffirm their inherent value and worth. The program emphasizes that self-acceptance is the foundation for inner peace and well-being.

We set out to reclaim those abandoned parts that we deem as lost, not good enough, and cast away due to trauma, pain, rejection, and other mental health dis-eases. We learn to reaffirm our self-worth and value by healing with compassion, self-love, and intentionality, establishing healthy boundaries, and realizing our intrinsic value and worth cannot be taken away. When we accept ourselves as we are, all we need is already within.

Guided Meditation and A Continuous Practice on this Journey

Each chapter begins with a guided meditation that focuses on a central theme aligned with the curriculum. This establishes a mindful foundation for the material covered in class. To reinforce the concepts and cultivate a consistent mindfulness practice, participants receive an informal journal calendar to complete throughout the week until the next class session.

The calendar activities prompt documented reflection of daily meditation and informal mindfulness exercises:
